Symptoms
Process Reporting Database task fails to complete. The exceptions list for the task in the SchedulerTasks log includes an error with content similar to the example below.the data source with the DataSourceID of 'ActiveNav4', Name of 'ActiveNav4'.
This error is typically seen if the service account username or password has been updated and the process for updating this information within the system configuration has not been completed.
It may also be observed if it has been necessary to rebuild the SSAS database, for example due to corruption, and the Data Source configuration has not been carried out correctly.
Resolution
The data source within the Active Navigation SSAS database must be configured with account details that allow access to the Active Navigation SQL database.
