Symptoms
Skim fails with exceptions logged showing errors of this format:
LoggedException - System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): Cannot insert duplicate key row in object 'dbo.ContainerInfo' with unique index 'IX_ContainerInfo_uservid_upathid_uprotid_udomid'. The duplicate key value is (9, 822461, 1, 1).
Cause
A defect was present in some Discovery Center releases that meant the removal of content relating to overlapping indexes could fail and leave "orphaned" content in the database for the child index locations.
If you subsequently try to create a new index for the parent location you will encounter errors in the format shown above due to the records that still exist for the previous index.

Contact Active Navigation support for assistance in identifying and removing the orphaned data so that the new index can be completed successfully.
