In certain circumstances, the Discovery Center web interface may not load.
If you attempt to load the website and an error message states "The trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed", or "the trust relationship between the primary domain and the trusted domain failed", then this article should help.
This problem has been observed in a small number of systems and the precise cause is still under investigation. It appears to be triggered by a configuration issue in the local Active Directory environment.
Below, we have provided a workaround to resolve this issue.
Resolution
The suggested workaround is to create four local groups on the Discovery Center host server that match the roles used within the Discovery Center application.
The required groups are:
- System Administrator
- AN Administrator
- Information Manager
- Reviewer
