Modifying or Removing an Index from a Schedule

Indexes can be scheduled to run at a future date with a recurring pattern. There may be cases where a user will want to modify or remove an index from its schedule.  This article describes this process so you can adjust the scheduling of your indexes as needed. 

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the Indexes tab in Discovery Center.
  2. Click the pencil icon of an index that has the schedule you want to adjust.
    You can verify this by reviewing the Scheduling column in the table.

  3. Click the 'Save & Schedule' button.

  4. A. Leave the option 'Schedule in the Future' selected to modify the existing schedule to a different date or time interval.

    B. Alternatively, click the 'Remove from Schedule' option to remove the schedule.

  5. Click the 'Save' button.

Note - that the 'Remove from Schedule' option is unavailable when using the bulk scheduling option. Additionally, by setting a new schedule with the bulk scheduling action, it will overwrite the existing schedules.
