Indexes can be scheduled to run at a future date with a recurring pattern. There may be cases where a user will want to modify or remove an index from its schedule. This article describes this process so you can adjust the scheduling of your indexes as needed.
Procedure
- Navigate to the Indexes tab in Discovery Center.
- Click the pencil icon of an index that has the schedule you want to adjust.
You can verify this by reviewing the Scheduling column in the table. - Click the 'Save & Schedule' button.
- A. Leave the option 'Schedule in the Future' selected to modify the existing schedule to a different date or time interval.
B. Alternatively, click the 'Remove from Schedule' option to remove the schedule. - Click the 'Save' button.
Note - that the 'Remove from Schedule' option is unavailable when using the bulk scheduling option. Additionally, by setting a new schedule with the bulk scheduling action, it will overwrite the existing schedules.
