      How to Uninstall a Collector

      Uninstalling a File Share Collector

      If you are no longer in need of a collector on a particular host, you can uninstall it so that it can be removed from ActiveNav Cloud's Collectors page on the Discovery tab.

      1. Log into the Host machine where the File Share Collector is installed, and launch the Add or remove programs application.

      2. Locate the Inventory by ActiveNav Collector application and click Uninstall.

      3. Once the uninstall is complete, remove the File Share Collector from the Collectors view in ActiveNav Cloud by clicking the delete icon next to the File Share Collector to be removed.

      4. Confirm the delete by clicking Confirm on the prompt that appears.
