Understanding Data Source Status

Initializing
  • The discovery process has not yet started, and will begin shortly.

Queued

  • Another discovery for a different data source that is associated with the same collector group is already running, and the collector group is therefore busy.
  • The discovery will start when the collector group is available and not processing another discovery.

In Progress

  • The discovery process is currently in progress and processing results.

Stopping

  • The discovery has been cancelled, and is in the process of being stopped.

Stopped

  • The discovery was canceled and has now stopped.

Completed

  • The discovery process was completed successfully.

Completed with warnings

  • The discovery process was completed, but some containers reported a failure.
  • Download the audit log for the data source for more information.

Partially Completed

  • Not all stages of the discovery process completed, with results for some containers potentially missing or timed out.
  • Download the audit log for the data source to show more detailed information.
  • If no information is available in the audit log, this indicates a processing failure within the ActiveNav Cloud platform.
  • You can either refresh the affected data source to try again, or contact support to investigate the reason for the failure.

Failed

  • The discovery process failed to initiate, for example due to no collectors being installed within the associated collector group.
  • Download the audit log for the data source to show more detailed information.
  • If no information is available in the audit log, this indicates a processing failure within the ActiveNav Cloud platform.
  • You can either refresh the affected data source to try again, or contact support to investigate the reason for the failure.

Deleting

  • The data source was deleted, and the background process to delete associated data is in progress.
Clean-up Failed
  • There was a problem deleting the data source, please contact support.
