      Machine Key Generator

      Discovery Center version 4.4.1 and newer require their license key be matched to a 'Machine Key' for the hosting application server. This article describes how to get the 'Machine Key' prior to the installation of the Discovery Center Software.

      Running the Generator

      1. Download Active Navigation Machine Key Generator at the bottom of this article and extract the contents of the Zip file.

      2. Open the expanded directory and run the Active Navigation Machine Key Generator application

      3. Depending on your system's security, a Windows prompt will ask if you would like to run the application.  Select the “Run Anyway” option.

      4. A console window will pop up and provide you with the machine key.

      5. Submit or reply to a ticket in our support portal. Once the request has been received our support team will provide you with the license key.
