Discovery Center Summer 2019 Release: (Release 4.8.2)
With the Summer 2019 release, we are introducing new functionality with Active Directory Groups, and an exciting Jira connector prototype.
In the Spring 2019 Release, we announced the ability to analyze pages, blog posts and discussion content in Atlassian's Confluence. We're excited to continue to build on our integration with the Atlassian suite of products with a brand new Jira Connector. This integration will allow the discovery of projects and issues, along with issue metadata.
Additionally, we now are supporting the use of Active Directory groups to manage mapping to saved views and work packages. Now you no longer need to assign saved views one-by-one, and can instead assign to groups, saving valuable time.
Finally, we have introduced some bug fixes that you can learn more about below.
New Features for Discovery Center Summer 2019 Release:
• Active Directory – enhancements to Discovery Center to support the use of Active Directory groups by customers to manage mapping to saved views and work packages
• Workbench – creation and stabilization of new Workbench build resolving long-standing defects and performance bottlenecks
• Incremental Improvements:
- Alter default container depth from 4 to 3 in order to improve load time for container reports
- Increase index list size on Index Overview page to include ‘All’ view option in order to improve customers experience when working at scale
- Alter default Area of Interest (AOI) view on reporting overview page to not select an AOI by default in order to improve usability and load time
- Alter the default startup check mechanism when opening Document Conversion and Thematic Analysis service when running Analysis
• Management Reporting Database (MRD) – Enable the use of SQL authentication when creating or upgrading the MRD so that users are not limited to Windows authentication
• Security:
